v0.2.0 Codex IDE & Archivo MCP connector
Archivo now speaks MCP: connect external AI clients to your workspace tools, with a built-in Codex engine and bring-your-own subscription.
- Archivo MCP connector — let Claude Desktop, the Codex CLI, or the built-in Codex drive Simba's read and write tools on your workspace.
- Connectors settings — a new settings tab to enable connectors, manage clients, and control access.
- Approval queue — connector tool calls can require your approval, with extra guards on destructive actions.
- Built-in Codex engine — a bundled Codex IDE with delegated ChatGPT sign-in, no separate install.
- Bring your own subscription — use your own ChatGPT / Codex plan for agent work via the new billing surface.
- Connector gates — admins can gate connector features per plan from the AI Test Center.
v0.1.1 Account security, plan gating & release tooling
A polish release: tighter account security, per-plan feature access, refreshed branding, and a fully automated in-app release workflow.
- Email verification — new accounts confirm their email before workspace access, with a hardened logged-out data purge.
- Per-plan feature access — file apps outside your plan are cleanly locked instead of partially loading.
- Sign-in fixes — resolved a login edge case and made maintenance-mode login persist.
- Deploy preflight — a pre-deploy checklist in the AI Test Center catches issues before shipping.
- File-app toolbar — overhauled toolbar plus polish across the PDF, presentation, whiteboard and 3D editors.
- Brand refresh — optimized logos, a new Simba mark, and updated in-app and intro-page branding.
- Release automation — the AI Test Center auto-detects the next version and publishes the changelog, tag and blog in one click.
- Licensing — allow occt-import-js (LGPL-2.1) in the commercial license check.
