Installing Archivo
Archivo runs in three ways. All of them use the same account and the same workspace.
- Web app — open app.archiv-o.com in a modern browser. Nothing to install; updates are delivered automatically.
- Windows desktop (coming soon) — a native desktop application that can mirror your documents to your computer. Check for new versions from the app menu (Check for Updates…) and download the latest build when one is available.
- macOS desktop (coming soon) — a native
.appdistributed as a disk image, with the same capabilities as the Windows app.
Desktop mirror
Section titled “Desktop mirror”The desktop apps can make your documents “available on your computer” as a local, cloud-backed mirror, so files appear in Explorer or Finder and can be opened by other programs. See the Desktop mirror guide for how it works and how to choose the mirror location.
