Simba overview

Simba is Archivo’s AI assistant. It can answer questions about your documents, summarize and extract from files, and generate or revise content directly inside the apps.

Simba is source-aware: it works from the documents and selections you give it. When it produces or changes content, it does so in the relevant app — a spreadsheet in TableSheets, a draft in Documents — rather than only returning text in a chat window.

Note

Simba does not run its own AI models. Its intelligence comes from third-party foundation models accessed through their commercial APIs. See AI model providers.
